When darkness descends

When darkness descends we define fear, unwittingly.

 

But wherefore is fear?

What's a different

What's different - an eye blink, a dive, a perception moment.

It's the same, really.

 

We judge

We judge - type, look, size, and on and on - and we are happy.

Seek and hide

Seek and hide, fly to hide, urging of past voices need to be dissected.

No fear, no nightmare haunts

No fear, no nightmare haunts when beauty of darkness awes and the heart lights up.

You and I belong in natural world.

 

Let it hit

Let it hit, let it hurt, and we live.

Steer, navigate, confront

Steer, navigate, confront

demons, shadows, fiends

Sun shines eventually

Moon lights too.

 

It's a long story.

It's a long story.  You don't have to listen.

You too have a story.  I don't have to listen.

But do not turn away.  Do not despise.

Everyone has a story, a journey travelled.

We may not need to listen, suffice to know everyone has a story.
