what is given, what is received

sheen, gloss

strikes, burns

encase of wealth

nature's endowment

the end is the same

song of peace

cry of war

choice of space

choice of who's what

revel as it is

and what it is

and it is as it is

dancing heart-waves

twinkling eye-rays

and it runneth over

when we look, when we accept

another new

another beauty

unfolds

behold of eyes that see.

so much to look up to

to keep looking up

notwithstanding tugs and pulls

that will never cease

to what is desired

to what is

down but hardly scarred

up there, down here

mist of breath

warmth of the wet

the muddy, the damp.

pausing to appreciate

whatever, wherever

one beauty one step

one moment one pause

beauty every step

lesser than truth

majesty of beauty
seat of truth
no less
