"I love you without knowing how ...."

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way”

"I shouldn't want to gorge on happiness all the time ...."

"I shouldn’t want to gorge on happiness all the time.  I shouldn’t be afraid of growing surfeited, blunted against joy in the feel and smell and texture of things.  They are the real possessions of life!  if you are blind but aware, you are not blind."

Functionally, a man is somewhat like a bicycle ....

"Functionally, a man is somewhat like a bicycle; a bicycle maintains its poise and equilibrium only so long as it is going forward towards something.  You have a good bicycle.  Your trouble is you are trying to maintain your balance sitting still, with no place to go.  It's no wonder you feel shaky."

The sad tale of an incredible weaver. Part 5 (An undertaking comes to naught)

got to rebuild this

taking shape at last

don't underestimate this!

there, the nest

may not look pretty ....

and then, this one takes shape

because this one came

sorry there, only room for one here

staking its claim

and the bigger one gets to stay

so, that's my story

The sad tale of an incredible weaver. Part 4 (Intrusive and Invasive)

the mean one ... a moment to strategise

first, i'll tear here

then, i'll pull

a good position too to work from

success ... the leaves have come apart

the dark force

is there anything else i should get at

a picture of destruction

The sad tale of an incredible weaver. Part 3 (The intruder)

uhh ...ohh ... something's amiss here

getting down to repair work

got to reach real low for this one

needs restitching here

let's see ... getting there

yup, pretty much how it should be forming

until this one came, again ... not a friend, mind you

The sad tale of an incredible weaver. Part 2

a cosy work place

a tug here

wind it

twist it tight

i'm not teaching my trade

but if you watch and learn ....

it's this way

and that way

and all the way

sorry, if you didn't get that

watch again

to the left

and to the right

pull it tight

there ... neat!

The sad tale of an incredible weaver. Part 1

it all started on this dracaena fragrans, aka corn plant

a masterpiece in the making

guess who?

a natural acrobat

quite easily done

effortless is its middle name

a pretty rear to boot

excuse me ... your .. ahem .. is showing ... (guess no apologies here!)

a study in absorption

yup .. it was me

up there, my pride
Once upon a time, before the bulbuls came, this one was here.  Here is its sad tale, of one who lost it all, a second time (the first time? that's story for another day)
